MISSION

The name, “Young Veteran,” comes from the inner city streets. Navigating the injustices of structural poverty and government sanctioned violence every day developed our character and resilience. Despite the struggle, we always saw possibility. We were determined to take care of each other, to laugh together, to play, have fun, and be creative. We have discovered our own truth, and we are committed to living in accordance with it. We call ourselves “Young Vets” because we understand that the wisdom that comes from our life experiences enriches our own lives and the lives of others. We founded YV to support our youth with transforming into the greatest versions of themselves.

APPAREL

YV Apparel is our uniform. We enlisted the help of expert designers, veteran textile producers, and seasoned crafts people who share YV’s commitment to care, technique, and sustainability. YV Apparel is designed and produced with meticulous consideration of fit and function, and made with superior fabric to the highest specs and standards. Made to be worn often and to feel great after years of wear.
